I have been living with type 1 diabetes for 42 years.
What are the most important things that have supported your diabetes care?
When I was diagnosed, my father was told that I would not reach the age of 20. Thanks to my doctor who educated me and taught me the benefits of insulin, I can live up to 100 years.
What does the centenary of insulin mean to you?
Insulin for me means health, life, and the freedom to eat anything I want. It's like petrol for a car or oxygen for the body.
